Up Ullapool Hill whilst the others orienteered/spectated. Has to be one of my fave hills, especially on a day like today! Only saw two people on my way back down and got a bit lost in the town trying to find the start of the path so a bit longer than anticipated.

North Berwick for lunch and back with Kora! Expecting some lovely sunshine but was overcast all the way out and when we got there so just sat in a restaurant and ate pasta. Sun came out on the way back so we stopped at the beach and Kora dipped whilst I lounged in the sun. Very lovely outing and quite pleased with the speed given how easy it felt!

Chest fine during but a bit tight after. Glute quite sore at times sat on my saddle and when using it more to get up hills.

Handball circuits again. Only 3 sets this time but then some sprinting which my legs disagreed with. Pretty wiped out now but at least I might sleep better as I've been having some poor nights recently:(

Dollar hill race route with Kora. Started ~20mins before the first wave then just pootled round and cheered everyone on as they came past. V chilled outing and heat made bearable by the fairly strong breeze.

No bother from the glute whilst running, but weirdly is sore after sitting on it for a while so had to keep shuffling about in the car on the way there and back.

4x15x20s on/7s off. Went to a handball club session on the meadows with Lucy which was super fun! Played back in high school about 8 years ago but isnt too dissimilar to netball so I wasn't too shabby. Played for about an hour after the circuits warm up so suitably knackered by the end.

Glute noticeably better but still sore up the stairs. Walked into holmfirth and back for lunch and could feel it up the hills although not as bad as stairs. More painful in the evening than the morning.

Managed to pick up a muscle pull in my left glute. Presuming thats what it is anyway. Unsure when I did it as felt it before I ran yesterday and then it unsurprisingly got worse after I'd raced twice... Now cant push off on my left leg without quite a bit of pain, having to crawl up stairs as tgeyre a bit of an impossibility. Hoping it fixes quickly and isn't anytuing too serious... Day off today, feeling a bit rough post last night anyway lol and raining all day.

SYO Twenty20 Sprint Champs. Morning prologue in the Botanics and Collegiate. Nav head defo not screwed on and fluffed the first 6 controls in the gardens, oops. Woke up and fine round the rest. Took the bottom route on the long leg which I think was a good choice. 2nd as expected behind Laura R. Seemingly an okay time given how slow and unfit I felt.

Afternoon final round the Uni and Weston Park. Chasing start but kinda irrelevant in the WO becase of the spread of abilities shall we say. Started 30s behind Laura and had Megan 30s behind me. Ran straight past #3 and Megan nearly caught me up but got away up the hill. Some super tricky route choices and struggled to pick so not sure I did them very well. Feeling even slower than the morning, cant wait to get some fitness and speed back:( got a box of choccies for coming 2nd though!!

Peak Raid 3 event which was a 2 hour score race in the high peak, mostly round all the footpaths. Was fun to go somewhere new and enjoyed plodding along with a map in hand. Paths were a lot more overgrown than expected so slightly regretted my shoe choice, but wasnt slipping about so was fine. Chest and breathing getting better for sure, just v slow and unfit.
