Much better nav day today. Missed #3 a bit because I read the contours the complete wrong way round and was looking for an up when it was a down, silly silly. But the rest good! Found Freya in not a great way at the top of the hill so jogged out the rest with her to make sure she got to the finish.

Basically half the intended session tonight as legs still feeling a bit knackered from the weekend... 1200, 1000, 800 with jogging recovery while the others ran the second reps. Finished off with some speeeeedy 2x200 + 2x100 yas! Missed sprinting, defos lost some speed though:(

Everything hurts. Also ceilidhing for a couple hours last night hasn't helped with the pain!! Slept in my calf compressions to try reduce the dull ache so I could actually sleep...

Got dropped off in Silverburn (in the pouring rain and 40mph winds) and ran home (although more precisely McDonalds...) following the Skyline route backwards through the Pentlands. Up to Carnethy then Turnhouse, skirted around Castlelaw then over Allermuir and Caerketton. Rain soon stopped fortunately however the wind continued to try blow us off the hills but it was so much fun!! Bit of a struggle towards the end when running became less painful than standing still, but some fab company in the form of Alex, Ro and Freya kept it very enjoyable:))

Thought I'd just go for a jog around the meadows but very quickly found that boring and found that my legs were enjoying running a bit faster. Kept extending with extra little loops, was having much fun:)

To and from Buckstone. Bit of a trek but had Fay for company:) And the downhill home was very pleasant.

The last fight with the night :'( Some nice loopy action, all fine apart from one loop where the map was not quite ideal and I kept getting stuck. Not pushing very hard but not plodding either. Thought my calves may go but they held together nicely, phew!

Was early (:O) so got an extra lil loop in. + drills and 4 strides.

Meadows tempo lap and 6x400m with a little less than 2 mins rest (2mins for the fastest gals). Legs turning okay, calves a bit tight but nothing major. No idea on my 400 times but felt pretty consistent. Shattered by the end, a good sesh!!

Last game of the season:((( Vs Dundee. We were a bit slow to get going in the first quarter but soon turned around when I came on in 2nd and we annihilated them lol. Final score 59-27 wow.

Had to take myself off for the third quarter bc my calves had tightened ?! Haven't had this in a while and never usually get it during netball so a little confused... Were okay in 4th though so nothing to stress over:)

CSC Dunrod Hill. Watch died so guessed distance. Hated this rather a lot. Open marshy hillside so could see for miles making the nav super easy. Either slipping on the snow or sinking into the bogs so could barely move. Could not feel my feet for the entire time and basically had a very unpleasant experience overall. 0/10 would not go again.

KB5. Weather not the nicest with all the pavements covered in slushy snow. Really wasn't feeling it so started off pretty slow. Was catching a harie girl all the way up the hill though so started pushing a bit harder. Unfortunately ran out of hill and she got away thanks to my lack of ability at running down hills... Pretty happy with this I guess.

Braids from Kings. A lovely sunny day with a chilly wind which made me feel even slower than I already was... Made friends with a lil kitty and a lil dog that decided to jump on me whilst I was lying on a bench soaking up some rays:)))
Edit: Knee a wee bit sore in the eve but foot okay.

Was going to run but it was chucking it down and I had a little niggly pain down the outside edge of my right foot.. Hoping it's nothing serious. Current thinking is it's just all this netball I've been playing this week!

FwtN on Whinny. Plodding round just enjoying being out really! Completely lost the plot on #13 and started navigating to entirely the wrong place.... Took a while to readjust. Feeling not half bad up the hills though which was nice:))

Gladhouse loop with aj. Beautifully sunny but couldn't quite fully enjoy it as the wind was horrific. Was fully getting moody over it. Managed to get yet another puncture, fortunately just after I'd past Kings so I could walk home. Well annoyed. And my calves really don't agree with walking in cleats.... Knee all fine, just a little painful after.
