Everyone very tired this morn for some reason.... We were all quite rubbish.

Some jogging about with Lindsay. Meadows then some drills then some more meadows then home. Legs felt awful to begin with (post another nap) but feeling better by the end. Had no time for intervals tonight but am probably still too tired to get a decent session out of it anyway.

BW urban. Such a good course!! Bit tired from netball but just plodded along. Some really tricky bits, made the same mistake with a dead end road twice, oops.... Took a short while to adjust to the change in scale in Dean Village at the end.

Livingston east league xc. Wish I could run faster:(( Maybe need some speedier sessions to get me moving better... Cancelled trains meant we only arrived 10mins before the start so basically no wu. Legs heavy and full of cold so this was just a bit of a struggle really:/

Strength and Conditioning 30:00 [4]

Some strange fitness thing that all the netball teams have been doing. As a group of 4 we had to complete 100 press-ups, 100 jumping lunges, 100 burpees, 100 chest passes and 100 full court sprints. Not what I signed up for on my rest day.... And as per I ended up doing more than my fair share (25 of each) being the 'fit' one on the team (!!) Actually a tiring netball fitness session for once though! Good stuff.

Long run out to Portobello on the railway/Brunstane Burn path and back via KF. Beautifully sunny but very chilly day, couldn't feel my face by the end.

Nice and easy round the meadows. Wasn't planning this long but felt like I could plod at this pace forever so kept going for a bit longer. (First flat run of the year woo)

Climbed the seat 5 times, 5 different routes each from the road. Had the fab company of Roanne and Kathryn:)) Non-ideal conditions involving lots of mud, plenty of slippy rocks and some 50+ mph winds made this a very fun, but knackering, venture.

Running race 1:43:00 [4] 11.53 km (8:56 / km) +700m 6:51 / km

(Tim Tett's) Blencathra Fell Race. Pretty happy with this! Struggled up the first half of Halls Fell with my calves so just kept plodding pretty slowly. Caught some time with the rock scrambling near the top though so had Jenny Peel and Steve D to direct me through the mist at the top.... Very grateful of this company!! Loooved descending back down and caught another group of 3 at the Cloven Stone. Kept all together to the bottom then I decided to push it up the final climb to drop them all. Was successful in this so had a nice run down the track by myself to the finish :) Think I finished 3rd woman, about 24 mins behind Cat, lol.

Outdoor then indoor o as a warm down. Lots of fun :)

Got dropped off at the far end of High Rigg and ran back to the centre along the bottom and then over Low Rigg. Nice easy pace with Sarah again. Not killing myself off before the fell 'race' tomorrow...
