Day 3, Whinlatter. Bit of a gross area, only a slight miss on #2.

Day 2, Angle Tarn Pikes. Another good run. But not perfect.

Lakes 5. Day 1, Silver Howe. Weather was gross, pouring it down and low cloud made looking ahead pointless. Felt very heavy at points, but also running quite well at others so was a bit weird.... Made a few route choice errors, lost some time helping a small lost child, and totally messed up #9 by about 2 mins. Think I won W20 but not really any competition.

Pike O'Blisco training. V nice, mostly downhill. Hit most of the controls well, bar a slightly off bearing to #10. The horizontal rain on top made things difficult; couldn't physically look up to see where I was going so had to go rather slowly to not get lost. Just acclimatising for tomorrow........

Sprintelope. Felt fast through the first few which was nice, then got the biggest stitch I've had in a loong time and was reduced to a crawl/had to keep stopping when it got so painful. Annoying!

6 mile walk from home to Wooldale with mum to pick up the car. Went via some lovely scenic wooded valleys that I've not been through before. Toasty.

Fat Rascal prologue sprint. Fairly happy, struggled up the hills as per but felt like I was running okay. Only about 3.5 mins behind Charlotte Ward lol

Chasing sprint. Not so good. Scale was weird in the wooded bit and got scratched to death. #14 was the weirdest control ever, looked obvious on the map but was so overgrown I persuaded myself I wasn't in the right place, so just waited for someone to come along and show me where it was!

A very steady ladies ride. One lady was struggling a bit tonight so we had to stop/ride reeeally slowly to keep letting her catch back up. Otherwise a very lovely evening for a ride!!
