Another easy one with mum. Yateholme, Digley and Goodbent track. For some reason today felt especially uphill (even though it wasn't) so a bit of a struggle. Guess legs were just a bit tired.

Easy slightly longer one with mum. Thought I'd be feeling a bit tired but was actually very fine at this pace! Stomach a little sore from too much pasta at lunch (oops) and left knee twinging quite badly at times. A little sore after but should be okay, has been twinging for a while but never gets any worse.

Holmbridge Skyline SLR with mum. Her longest ever run so kept it easy and walked a lil bit up past Goodbent Lodge and the steepest section up to Black Hill. Ran the rest though which was more than I was expecting! Shuffling a lot by the end but a glorious day to be out, shorts and tshirt even on the tops! And a small amount of sun burn to top things off...

Scottish Virtual Road Relays. Flattest 5k I can get at home is along the main road to Holmfirth and back. Started at the bottom so first half was uphill and into a headwind. Kept it steady as I really didn't fancy dying before halfway, but in hindsight maybe could have started a little harder. Got a fat stitch on the way back down and was a real mental battle to keep the legs turning and not just keel over.. Fairly happy with this though, reckon with a flat course and much fresher legs I can be shaving a bit more time off my PB.

6x3(1) up the Digley track this time instead of the rec. Uphill and into the wind in one direction which was tough, kinda popped on the 3rd one of these. Not feeling very zippy at all, but glad to get something done. Unsure as to whether I preferred the rec or this track... Also unbothered by my foot. Noticeable afterwards but no worse than yesterday.

Foot feeling better today so joined mum on her long run. Could feel it a tiny bit on the ups and a bit more on the downs but doesnt seem to be any worse after... Hopefully it's all g, will keep running on it but will stop and hop back on the bike if it gets worse again.
