Had already decided I was bailing on intervals but the run to KF just confirmed I'd made the right decision. Did the drills and a lap with Lindsay and Saz then back. Decided to also plod round the meadows as fast as my calves would take me, which was ridiculously slowly.... :(

6x5mins (1min). Legs dead, just wouldn't get moving at all. Morning training not the one if I want to feel good at intervals.... Woke up more and more as the session went on so was probably getting faster on each rep though. No foot pain:)

What?! Another run?!?! No offence to Molly but this morning was so chill I decided to go for another run... Same loop, opposite direction. Pushed a bit harder than usual but it still felt comfortable. Today has been quite a good day :)

FWTN #3, Mortonhall. Went off fast but was holding pace. Then my calves went and had a sharp pain in the arch of my right foot :/ walked for a minute or so then just jogged the rest. Saw a fox :o

Down innocent railway, lil loop in Craigmillar then back up Dalkeith Road with a cheeky lil Meadows loop thrown in at the end. Heavy legged after intervals last night, took until about 5k for my legs to wake up.

5x6mins (90s). Felt good to start. Weirdly died on the 4th. Then sped up again on the last. A good session for me but still off the back by quite a way :(

To the start. Realised I was going quite fast but then also realised it was all slightly downhill...

Orienteering 50:05 [4] 7.78 km (6:26 / km) +50m 6:14 / km

Eliburn and Peel, Livingston SOUL. Nothing too complicated but good fun, still had to keep concentrating. Focused on planning ahead and was going pretty well. About 5k in my calves seized up (VERY annoying but made me realise that they actually haven't bothered me for a while now) so had to walk/shuffle very slowly for about 15 mins. Probably lost nearly 10 minutes :( They loosened off in the woods at the end so maybe they were just disagreeing with the pounding on tarmac...

FWTN #2. Started around Craigmillar golf course then into Blackford. Was all going fine and dandy until my path through the gorse vanished and I got stuck for a good 10 minutes.
