Note

Travel day back from Sälen to Borlänge after cleaning out the cabin. Very much traffic the first part down to Sälens by and a bit further on but quite reasonable after all. Stopped at a very nice cafe in Snöå Bruk before the final stretch back home. After unpacking and getting a bit organized we continued to Ludvika later in the evening.

Before watching the finish of Day 5 I went for a longish bike trip: to Hemfjällstangen/Transtrand (through the competition area), Gamla Fjällvägen to Sälens by and then the last tough uphill back to our cabin at Sälfjällstorget.
The climb was tough enough for me but looking at the numbers it´s really nothing compared to what they do in TDF almost daily for three weeks. 160 m of climb that I thought was steep from KM 23.5 to KM 26 and then a more gentle uphill the last 2 KM - so altogether it was enough to break a sweat...

Easy warm-up jog to the ski-lift taking us uphill to the start - climb recorded is obviously not for the running part. 15+ minutes waiting in line + 9:30 going up the ski lift.
