Orienteering race (Red) 1:13:20 [3] 7.6 km (9:39 / km) +315m 8:00 / km

This was a really fun course! I came in second in F21 with less than a minute between first, second, and third place.

RELAY! Sadly, the CSU 3 pt team did not win... but second is solid, congrats Cascade!!! I ran the third and final leg. Ken came in with a three minute lead. I had a bobble on the first control that cost me maybe 30 sec - 1 min. Then I heard feet behind me and it was Will passing me around 4 so I started pushing the pace. He over ran 5 and I tried to be sneaky but he turned around and saw me punch :( He caught me again on the uphill and I chased him for a few legs but he's just so speedy. I was exhausted by the last loop and had a bad mistake on 9, but it was really fun to run into the finish with Giovanni and Ken!
(I think we should get bonus points (?) for me picking up Giovanni's number in the woods :)

I didn't have any time to warm up because we got there really late. That was a problem. Two bobbles on the first and fifth control.

I didn't have any time to cool down after the park o because my mom had to be back in Cambridge 15 min after I finished. I had her let me out of the car as soon as a recognized where we were and did a little river run on the way home. I did ~ 4 x 1 min hard, 2 min easy after a 6 minute warm up.
