Good turnout for a Sunday morning long run on the Chase. Not as hilly or in terrain as the previous time up here, but a decent distance nevertheless. Main issue was calves tightening up early in the run - before the stepping stones at the 10k mark. Could maintain a slow but consistent shuffle, didn't make much difference on the hills. Not quite sure why this should happen - some combination of shoes/terrain/training/nutrition that didn't work...
Glad to get round, weather wasn't too bad for the first half/when in the forest - and then you turned into the wind and rain... Climb from the Garmin download for now, which also claims a 'stopped' time (for regrouping) of 45 mins or so!
