Training Log Archive: Old Daniel

For various reasons had to arrive at BOC to noon and then kicking my heels. So jogged to the start and ran a section of my course. The terrain and in particular the brashings were much more physical that I had anticipated from jogging around the wood -interesting and unexpected lesson

Hanging a handful and checking the rest. Quite late in the day as could not make a meaningful start till BOC over. Did not quite complete due to darkness
4 hours in the forest and quite tired at the end

In Cardiff to play with grand kids

Ashton Court, ran from bottom car park on a nice sunny day -flat shoes as dry but little improvement in time -need to be patient

MLS at Fonthill, the forest has been decimated and a lot of timber around. Map fairly desperately needed an update. Ran the score as really quite uncertain of the calf issue and did not want to be out too long. A lot of time searching for controls , and very little distance covered- agree with Tommi's comments.

THERE ARE some days when it is just good to be out in the forest and in the sunshine and not in a war zone.

Ran from Mangostsfield School down to Warmley and back. Nice warm, sunny day

Ran out and back along the coast path from Portishead -did not get very far!

Lovely sunny day but not good after yesterday so just ran down to Frenchhay and back through Oldbury Court
