hill efforts 1:09:42 [4] 5.5 mi (12:40 / mi)

6 x daffodil hill. First couple were a struggle, remainder better. Quite slow to/and from. Knees (both) have been quite sore in last couple of weeks and were again today. Actually ran quite hard yesterday

Friday Aug 6, 2021 #

off road 1:40:48 [3] 9.0 mi (11:12 / mi)

Run from Cold Ashton. Going well until the turn into St Catherine's Valley. After this its uphill has cattle ruts, mud, at this time of year long grass and today into a strong wind, so struggled particularly in the last field. Encouragingly felt strong on the road at the end. So the target time of 100 mins slipped by despite best efforts. (I did have to stop to go past a woman on a horse who was going through a gate, so probably more than 48 secs!

Thursday Aug 5, 2021 #

off road 1:15:15 [3] 7.0 mi (10:45 / mi)

Leigh Woods, trying to make running a bit more of a training session. Went a bit wrong (inexpicably) and so made an unplanned extension.

Wednesday Aug 4, 2021 #

off road 1:34:34 [3] 8.5 mi (11:08 / mi)

Loop of Frenchay Common, Oldbury Court, Frome Valley, Eastville Park and back over Purdown. Omitted to take Ipobrufen so knees felt quite sore (a bit earlier than I might have expected. Quite a hot day so became a bit of a stuggle topwards end

Tuesday Aug 3, 2021 #

off road 55:14 [3] 5.5 mi (10:03 / mi)

Ashton Court -standard loop but trying to run a bit faster

Monday Aug 2, 2021 #

off road 1:43:02 [3] 8.0 mi (12:53 / mi)

Tinsel Trot. Very good running conditions. Quite a lot slower than I was running last year but still quite pleased
