off road 1:33:04 [3] 9.0 mi (10:20 / mi)

Rwaan the Cold Ashton loop, a bit wet but not too cold. Very wet underfoot in the bottom of the valleys and a fair amount of effort used to struggle through the hoof prints. So I was quite pleased to do a pretty good time. Quite tired afterwards

Friday Nov 20, 2020 #

off road 1:01:03 [3] 6.0 mi (10:11 / mi)

The standard Purdown route, quite wet but needed to get out and run early in the day. A bit slippery so pretty pleased with the time but had to run very hard for the last mile

hill efforts 1:05:48 [3] 5.5 mi (11:58 / mi)

Reluctant to go out today. it seems that running faster knocks me about a bit in the next days But it turned out that today was a bright sunny if cold day and a rest or very easy day might be better suited to a wet day of which plenty are promised. So went out intending to do the standard route but hoards out enjoying the sunshine which meant multiple diversions taxing on an already fragile motivation. Switched to some focused efforts rather than let it become a plod. 6 x 2mins ish on the daffodil hill. Not surprisingly quite hard work

Wednesday Nov 18, 2020 #

off road 1:16:54 [4] 8.0 mi (9:37 / mi)

CW north from the Dog. Took 39.50 to the turn which compares with 4220 last time. I did have a following wind, it was not obvious how strong this was until I turned! So work really hard on the return journey. Considering it is now very wet and muddy underfoot return was very pleasing. Not a bad outing on a windy, quite wet but very mild grey day

Tuesday Nov 17, 2020 #

off road 1:01:18 [3] 6.0 mi (10:13 / mi)

Uncertain what to do today, ended up going to Leigh Woods pm, a lot of forestry work and like every where quite muddy but managed to avoid any heavy rain. Running was fine

Monday Nov 16, 2020 #

off road 1:08:28 [3] 6.5 mi (10:32 / mi)

Blaise from Churchill Drive, but basically the same loop as from car park. A bit muddy and could feel knee a little, but running quite well by the later stages

Sunday Nov 15, 2020 #

off road 3:14:00 [3] 15.0 mi (12:56 / mi)

Run with Dave: Tresham, Boxeell, Newington Bagpath, Bagpath, Ozleworth, Sawcombe Farm, Tyley Bottom, Wotton, Wortley, Alderley ,Newmills Farm. and Tresham . Glorious countryside, a bit muddy in places. LHS knee started to ache (a bit) after an hour and a quarter but eased up later on the soft ground (It just happened that later part of the run was less physical.) More new ground covered and very enjoyable with weather much better than expected. Tired afterwards
