Saturday Nov 7, 2020 #

off road 1:12:10 [3] 6.0 mi (12:02 / mi)

Standard Purdown route. Turned out to be a nice sunny day and the park was packed with people. So it was actually a sort of standard route. It has got wet and greasy but even with that in mind it was a very slow struggle

Friday Nov 6, 2020 #

off road 50:00 [2] 3.0 mi (16:40 / mi)

Just a loosener, went into Oldbury Court, feeling quite devoid of energy

Thursday Nov 5, 2020 #

Note

Just not feeling great and some heating issues, so basically a bit of a non- day in front of the TV

Wednesday Nov 4, 2020 #

Note

Quick visit to Sheffield prior to National lockdown. Nice walk with kids on the first very cold day of the winter. Ended up with an interesting variety of small gloves

Tuesday Nov 3, 2020 #

flat efforts 43:23 [4] 3.5 mi (12:24 / mi)

Purdown 8x 2mins with 90 secs, pretty poor session, breathing quite desperate 2/3rds the way through but did manage to complete. Nice but cool day

Monday Nov 2, 2020 #

off road 1:53:46 [3] 10.0 mi (11:23 / mi)

Ran from Cross, quite early as forecast was for increasing winds and squally showers. Maybe the last opportunity to run anywhere wild for some time. Really quite hard work to run to and then up Crooks Peak, but then breezed along the top over Wavering Down and up the other side to the worlds deepest hole. It does seem that a 40 mph following wind is quite helpful. Very circuitous and slow return. Tired after a couple of tough days and an afternoon snooze pretty near compulsory.

Sunday Nov 1, 2020 #

off road 1:41:08 [3] 9.0 mi (11:14 / mi)

Ran from Swineford, up the race course and across down to Langridge Church, back up the hill round the battlefield and then back down through North Stoke using fields. A bit disappointed in the time but running and weather conditions have worsened and seemed to be going ok on the hills
