hill efforts 1:01:42 [3] 4.0 mi (15:26 / mi)

Not much I could do today. I have really enjoyed the running recently but I am now pretty much maxed out. Did not have the opportunity to get out did afternoon and it was quite hot, so just a short run mostly up and down the paths in the wood .....so hills a good description efforts less so. Still one of those days when it could have been 0 and its not.

off road 2:40:00 [2] 13.1 mi (12:13 / mi)

Really enjoyed Seven Springs run with Dave so repeated this time with Celia, so a small percentage of walking up hill. Slightly shorter route and opposite sense. Another hot sunny day so ran early. Another very enjoyable outing

off road 1:08:25 [3] 6.5 mi (10:32 / mi)

A really quite hot day so ventured south of Bristol for a Goblins Combe, Wrington, Chapel, up to the lane and loop through Kings Wood past Woolmers. Chose this because its really quite shady and was actually a delight. I have done so many really enjoyable runs in the last few months its no wonder I remain keen. Felt good particularly on the second hill. Short delay in Wrington as stand off between white van and the second largest tractor in the world with a muck trailer which could have contained the national debt. Squeezed past, but the tractor did repass which makes me assumed that the resolution was as you might have predicted. Time for 6 mile run was 62.50 but some time to add on as parked in Cleeve.

off road 45:00 [2] 3.5 mi (12:51 / mi)

Run early in the day in Ashton Court to catch up with Ashley. Good to have a face to face chat ,he is exercising regularly but he will not be able to run freely until he has had an additional procedure. This suited me as I was heavy legged and an easy day was very desireable

off road 2:53:37 [3] 14.86 mi (11:41 / mi)

Ran from Seven Springs with Dave Kingham. North/ East along CW , Wistley Hill, Pegglesworth, Gloucestershire Way, Coberley, Air Balloon, CW north, Crickley and Leckhampton. Nice route some beautiful countryside and then great views. Quite an honest pace, also quite pleased with stamina. Only after a small navigational error caused an extra climb did Dave's extra strength show. Quite weary and glad to finish. Started talking at the start and kept going for whole run. Dave is probably now deaf . Another lovely day

off road 1:08:07 [3] 6.5 mi (10:29 / mi)

Ashton Court, hot day heaving with people (its a BH! I forgot) ran basically most of the loop and a short loop on the top. Very steady today

Sunday May 24, 2020 #

off road 1:34:35 [3] 9.0 mi (10:31 / mi)

Swineford, North Stoke, round race course to Blathwayt Arms, down past Lanndgrige church, up to and round battlefield, Hanging Hill and back through Upton Cheyney. Really nice run, struggled a bit on the first hill but after that ok, much better rhythm on the second one. Lots of people out including runners. These included Clive, could not have choreographed it better he was just reaching the top of the long hill through Upton Cheyney so shuffling along at a Daniel type pace and I was beaning down a gentle incline at a Hallett type pace.....Ha Ha. (Won't stop him going at 1.5x my pace in the forest ). Runability pretty quick and quite pleased with the time
