off road 1:15:00 [3] 7.0 mi (10:43 / mi)

I came to the bridge at Snuff Mills, there were a lot of people about. I waited and then walked across behind a family and was followed by others. (The footbridge is perhaps 1m wide x 10m long, followed by a stretch of approx. 40 m between walls which is about 1.5m wide. Mid way our crocodile met an opposing one. I scrambled up the wall onto the bank to watch the drama unfold. How long would the stalemate last? which crocodile would retreat? After a disappointing short time the lead couples dosey doed and after a couple more people, all pretence of distancing was abandoned and the lines passed each other shoulder to shoulder in silence. I followed, by the time I reached the end a new group was forming. Mhhhhhh R = ??

Oh and I went for a run as well: Purdown, Eastville just into Oldbury. Took road option. Missed starting the watch at one point so time a guess. Just miles today really but contours are still contours

off road 58:55 [4] 6.0 mi (9:49 / mi)

Purdown standard route (except diversion to track) at the start added 15 secs to watch time of 58.41. Ran quite quickly yesterday, underfoot hard, sunny but not hot, no wind and (relatively) few people about (why?) so decided to give it a go from the start, seemed quite quick between hills. which in turn were a challenge. Pushed hard over the last mile and done in at finish. Pleased with the sub 60 mins

off road 1:09:45 [3] 7.0 mi (9:58 / mi)

Ashton Court lovely near prefect running day, would have run standard loop quite quickly (back to car <55mins) so did an extra hill down to house and back. Dear Park closed otherwise good place to social distance. Amongst other folk out running one guy young who really could run.....puts quite quickly into context

off road 1:42:29 [3] 9.0 mi (11:23 / mi)

Sometime I needed to check the car would start which it did.....then could I remember how to drive ….in part but getting the gears right.....how does any one remember? Short trips for exercise now allowed so went to Cold Ashton for standard route. Hard cattle trod ground and long final still challenging don't seem to be more or less the same as re cr5isis from a fitness perspective.

off road 1:14:56 [3] 7.0 mi (10:42 / mi)

Purdown, Eastville Park, Frome Gorge, road option to Fishponds just touching Oldbury Court. So cannot really compare times as this route is a bit quicker.
Wind had dropped and quite pleasant, bigger groups of people out today and quite a few quite lengthy interruptions. Did not mind as today was just a miles run. Which was just as well as I was lacking energy, knees for some reason were poor, running style (what style?) gone to pot and a struggle on hills. Otherwise all good and enjoyed being out

off road 1:00:29 [3] 6.0 mi (10:05 / mi)

Purdown standard route; the weather has changed, 10 degrees cooler and a strong northerly wind so far less interruptions. Not enthusiastic about going out as quite lethargic but ok once past the front door. Quite pleased with the time as much of the route back was into the teeth of the wind....quid pro quo the third hill was much easier than usual.

road run 1:52:03 [3] 13.1 mi (8:33 / mi)

Weather forecast to break so ran early. Winterbourne, Framton, Coalpit Heath Downend but then straighter home. Finding running on the road quite challenging fine to about 10 miles but then lack of stamina kicks in.
