off road 45:00 [2] 4.0 mi (11:15 / mi)

Really did not fancy running but went out and turned the legs over around Pomfrey and Rodway Commons

off road 55:00 [3] 5.0 mi (11:00 / mi)

Short run on Purdown in the wet, had to divert from normal route to avoid the dogs. The numbers of professional dog walkers accompanied by large packs of semi- controlled hounds has become something of a nuisance. Very slow and again lacking energy but at least turning the legs over

Note

Feeling quite tired and lacking energy at the moment. Did not run today and may take a break after the Scottish

road run 12:00 [2] 0.6 km (20:00 / km)

Warm up
2 AM

orienteering race (Urban) 53:22 [5] 6.4 km (8:20 / km)

BOK Urban at Paulton. 1:4000 map and lots of controls mostly in the extensive new developments. No real mistakes -not seeing gaps and taking two sides of triangle to exit parks x 2 and some serious hesitations due to too much going on. A good map and challenging course, enjoyed the race. I suspect we have visited every cul- de- sac in the village

Controlling 1:00:00 [1] 5.0 km (12:00 / km)

Another bright sunny day so took the opportunity to go to Whiteford

Monday Jul 15, 2019 #

orienteering (Urban) 55:00 [5] 6.8 mi (8:05 / mi)

Bradley Stoke - significant hesitation on one others ok. A hot sunny day so this was plenty

Sunday Jul 14, 2019 #

Note

Wiped out so spent day in garden and watching cricket- not sure that this helped
