Purdown out and Frome valley back, I did not go into Oldbury Court. Knees seemed a bit sore (common) and occasional twinge in hip (novel), this could be associated. Again struggling a bit on hills
Again the short 3 hills version of Purdown. Perhaps will find for longer and varied runs post Xmas. Very greasy unable to run all the way up the last two hills because feet slipped away. New shoes whilst very cumfortable are not as good as mudclaws, need to vary route and shoes
Blaise Castle run from car park. Warm but grey and mid morning. Running quite hard from start and was struggling/ working hard on the hills. Time quite good, but a bit questionable as stopped to adjust laces etc. but certainly feeling stronger than recently.
BAOC at Frith Hill. A delight to run in this wood. A bit flustered from start - large unmarked bike track and route to 2, this confusion continued missing 3, messing up relocation and then exiting in wrong direction at least 5mins lost after this still a bit messy including miscounting paths going to 11. Second half much better but quite heavy legged.
Short version of Purdown but with 3 hills, late in the afternoon. A bit gloomy and again greasy. Its going to be difficult to get back towards a drum beat of training with Xmas and New Year. Hoping that a few miles -quantity at the expense of quality will help this week. Both Nov and Dec whilst good in parts have been much more fragmented than I had hoped and want to go into 2018 with some momentum

BOK curry run from Westbury around Blaise. Only short as is tradition, and very slow with lots and lots of stops for what frankly would have been a very frustrating normal run. However only a few hours gap since running and heavy legged and tired so welcome.
