off road 51:45 [3] 5.0 mi (10:21 / mi)

Not planned to run today but superb bright sunny warm spring afternoon. Ran from Swineford to race course, round hill and back .More of a potter really. Great to be alive day

flat efforts intervals (grass) 45:00 [5] 4.0 mi (11:15 / mi)

BAWA 9X2mins with 90secs gap. Not a great session -strong wind tried to avoid but a bit gusty. Breathing not great.
Quite a gap since last efforts and early spring training lacked consistency - now opportunity to improve

off road 1:11:42 [3] 7.0 mi (10:15 / mi)

Leigh woods standard route - again completely dry fast running conditions - not strong on hills and a bit short of zip - hence time but putting miles in the bag in the dry light spring

Wednesday Apr 3, 2013 #

off road 56:04 [4] 5.5 mi (10:12 / mi)

Purdown may never be this dry again! Crisp evening standard route no diversions pleased with time

Tuesday Apr 2, 2013 #

off road 1:06:00 [3] 6.5 mi (10:09 / mi)

Blaise Castle & Penpole from car park lovely spring evening if a little cool. Very much enjoyed tour of dry wood. Heavy legged on a couple of hills to start and tried to run a bit faster back

orienteering race 38:17 [5] 5.2 km (7:22 / km)

JK Relays Hambelden- made errors on first two controls and also at 4. Did catch up some places but very little in the legs - weak on the first hill left me trying to keep up rather than map read

orienteering race 1:11:53 [5] 8.4 km (8:33 / km)

JK Day 3 Cold Ash wood
28th a messy wet flat wood really not my type of race. I was messy from the start horrible mistake at 5 completely disorientated. Other mistakes in first half - better second. Disappointing as I knew how to run here - biggest problem not holding line on compass.
Looking at winsplits less mistakes I would have been 11th - completely meaningless but speed in the wood not too terrible
