Night score at Sallowvallets.Through experimenting formed hypothesis thats its the charger not the headlight thats the problem. So bouyed with new enthusiasm tried it out and headlight did stay on. Took odd route at the start (so I could get back in dark) and also confused with small bike paths and got very, very lost. This left me with a 55 or 65 min option took later and then was caught in grot. So got remarkably few controls and lots of penalties - thoroughly enjoyed the forest - well done planner

CW from the Dog -nice warm day- did not go crazy just really enjoyed the run. Enthusiasm back. 43 mins to the turn

I could have run and had taken my kit but another lare departure from work and generally fed up

Ashton court. Great night loved being our running again. Less than successful light story big light went out after about 15 mins (fault could be charger not light?). Run many times around AC in the dark with Pete while kids swam (& chatted) but not now, running in the dark even with a moon and city lights is really difficult and slow. A bit quicker with small light

Left work at 19.00 but the last days have taken its told so no chance of running. I am really not enjoing work and getting to silly stress levels

At work till after eight - no enthusiasm for running

Mostly running - light snow and really quite pleasant in the wood .
We almost made a horlicks of the control swapping but error fixed in time.
Big challenge to come up with a different race and different feel to night race. Most seem to find ok well done Coiln Dury.
Will be intresting to hear how folk thought about the litho v laser maps
