BOK run from Rowberrow - one of my favourites. Went wrong way round. Down to Hill Fort up to top of wood and back. Would have liked a little more on a pleasant sunny evening
JK Llanwyinider. Misty today compared with sun yesterday. Ran well to 8 -but completely lost going to 9 -silly as obvious route, then lost significant time at 10 &11. Really disappointed with myself for this.
Clydach Terraces - another sunny evening - a bit sloppy at start with a silly time consuming mistake -much better in second half. 1:7500 just right for me - well planned and good fun
Did not run today cross with myself. Map bagging at Mark's should have got up and run first. (Inevitably) instead took longer than expected and no time. A badly managed week - reflective of lack of motivation? due to complete absence of any goal?
Wessex galloppen at Rushmore. Has been quite a nice forest but decimated by storms. Made errors at first two, a parallel one on the long leg and missed the last control. Despite these I was genuinely surprised at how slow I was.
CW from the Dog. Perfect running conditions 38.03 to turn -raced back into a bit of a headwind. Not really meant this. Shin only hurt running down road - does not like being banged down
'never jog in the fog' a guy from LA once told me. This and the concern over my shin led me to be very cautious on what was an evil, wet grey day with the news saying we were at pollution level 10. Leigh woods run no heroics kept it nice and easy
Did I say my shin hurt a bit whilst running. Lets amend that to it hurts like hell doing things like driving and well walking. In fact its not clear if the shin hurts and its referring up to the knee or visa verca. Almost certainly over use after the last few weeks - time to have a couple of days off
