Steady ride out on the fire roads down to the bottom of Kitbag hill and back again. Probably the last time I ride up Sherbrook valley on a Sunday morning, dogs were literally everywhere. Through Hednesford Camp to the main road. Back up the hill where I put in a bit of an effort. Back along Chase Rd, down to the Common, shug, and up the lane. Nice morning for it.

The Achilles is ok walking now so decided to take a trot round the trails to see what's what. Was cautious unintentionally through out really but nothing was giving me pain... not surprising though. Took it steadily down the hills and just enjoyed being out again. Only aches came after when resting which is slightly odd?! Looking ok for schools score next weekend I hope :)

First ride out on the dog with Matt and Bish. Up from Stepping Stones up past Deer Lawns and up to Tackeroo. Full dog loop. Stop and starty but was pretty chilled with efforts in places. Back down Sherbrook to Milford Common and home through Shugborough and up the lane.

With Harvey out to Stepping Stones and up the single track the other side of the river. He fell pretty hard and with a broken hand decided to head back. Didn't seem to slow his chatting however... Back along the fire road to the Common, through shugborough, dropped him at his in Gt Haywood and gave it a good go up the lane. Getting dark quickly now.

Bogged down with school work and with the rain wasn't too annoyed not to get out. Ride tomorrow and possibly Friday. Hope to get back running at the weekend so the Achilles has a good two weeks!

Collected the new Trek after school and decided to ride it home. Up to Penk Bank Rd, down into Sherbrook, Stepping Stones and home. Love the bike. 20.5in frame is perfect. Fox forks with CTD are fab! Flew up the hills and I am amazed how much quicker I can climb on this. SLX brakes and drivetrain were also very impressive. So pleased!
