Almost back to normal. :-)

Ex Bike 45:00 [3]

Went short today due to the achilles acting up from yesterday's run. Not as bad as last year at the lane of green, but still enough to cut it short.

Walking warm up/down 10:00 [1] 0.5 mi (20:00 / mi)

Wandering about at the O Meet, bathroom, heading to start, etc.

Orienteering race 1:02:56 [2] 4.07 mi (15:28 / mi) +145m 13:55 / mi

FCC Green. Felt good throughout and only really messed up once - going to control 8 - fell in creeks twice (2nd time up to waist!)!! Oldtimers loved it and regaled me in their tales of creekfalls, swampfalls and other disasters from the days of yore. I guess you have not truly O'd until you have had assorted disasters. I learned where I messed up by looking a the aerial version of the garmin track:

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/493011256

Felt non-winded even with jogs and uphills, probably one of my better average paces ever on green. Left calf held up well. Achilles on R leg sore now. Time to break out the ice!

12 PM

Walking warm up/down 15:00 [1] 0.75 mi (20:00 / mi) +10m 19:12 / mi

Hither and tither to change clothes and move stuff around. Got to amuse the old timers when they asked my why I was wet from the chest down. ;-)

At least the water was refreshing!
