Felt like a nice long walk with some hills, which I sought out.

Fair amount of mud on the downhill, so it may be interesting at Fronch Creek on Sunday. Bodywise, things felt good. It looks like a longish brown course, so it may be a good workout. Then again, I can come in last on greene (as I shall walk it as much as possible).

First Hike of 2014! Basically went longer than to hide 2 letterboxes just to see how the recovery of the left calf has gone. Some tightness setting in a little bit after the second hill ascent. Was down in Chester County, in a place called Coventry Woods Park - it has potential as an O place - call it French Creek Far East (without the rocks). I mentioned it to a couple folks back in November, perhaps I can recommend to a different one and get more interest.

I have a lot of yard werk to do in the short term (lots of green to clean up before it leafs out), so I did a lot of trimming and collecting for chipping.

Also swept the crud out of the garage and packaged snowmelt into sealed containers so that it does not absorb water and become a slimy brick when the dewpoints go up.

Picked up a ton of sticks from the front yard (we have a paper birch) for chipping. Got the major ones off of the lazy neighbor's lawn as well as it all ends up being mulch for our beds.

Did some trimming of randy vegetation in the back as well (just a bit). That will continue, perhaps after tomorrow's O thang.

Perhaps the last one for a bit, due to much more snow being forecast for a couple days from now. I had to do a quick turnaround about 1 minute into the first jog due to some large unleashed dawgs near the school. grmble. Decided that I did not want to be chased or jumped on.
