Was course setter at the Star Village Event, so I did some practicing on an old Blue Course that Steve Aronson provided, at least looking for control features in the area from where our participants were. Then did some control pickup and finally a nice little stroll at home.

This was a really fun race - thanks to the event organizers! I finally felt like I was not injured or a big dummy out there. Being a heavier than typical orienteer has its' advantages on windy days like today. ;-)

New actual O shoes and gaiters are a big plus - the mastodon did tromp.
