Wednesday event at Big Finn Hill. Jon and Cynthia set, so I got to run. I straight up skipped number 8, and I have no idea why. Don't think I've ever done that before; I think I'm broken. Likely would have nipped course designer/setter's time though.

Hiking 1:59:29 intensity: (16:19 @1) + (51:39 @2) + (51:29 @3) + (2 @4) 4.34 mi (27:32 / mi) +493m 20:21 / mi

Solo effort up to Horseshoe Lake in the morning before packing out. This was supposed to be an out-and-back rather than a loop, but the trail became a bit difficult to follow once it entered a burn area, and I missed the sharp right turn that headed straight up the slope. Instead, I continued to the end of the valley on a half-trail, which then ended. I had a map, so I figured I'd climb up the reentrant cross-country and hopefully swing back into the backside of the lake, which was a tougher climb than I was expecting. I found the trail on the way down, which was also very steep.

Great views of Mount Stuart looming large - a goal of mine this summer.

From camp up to Colchuck and back. I was hoping to get over Asgard into the core, and hopefully up Dragontail, but we got a late start, no one else in the group was up for it, and it seemed inadvisable to tackle it solo.
