Last London run in Shadwell, including a 1km effort on the tobacco docks segment. PR'd, but only 3rd overall.
Finished at the "Town of Ramsgate" pub for a sharpener before jogging back to work.

Had intended on bushy park, but slept through my alarm.
Ran this for fun, with no expectations, knowing I'm not in great shape or we'll rested or psychologically ready to push myself yet.
Ended up running reasonably in sections but couldn't quite sustain and slowed considerably in the 4th km. shattered at the end.
Unfazed with the result, but excited to work to get back to a pb (under 1730) this year.

Trailrunning through Surrey Hills with Drew
Soon after we parked we found ourselves getting hassled by filmcrew as they were shooting something in the forest. We asked what it was and they said "a commercial" and sneered (there was a lot of douchey sneering going on). Turns out they were filming the next James Bond. Spent a lot of time trying to navigate around the set.

Otherwise a beautiful forest to run in. Cut my leg with a lot of blood flowing, but no major damage.
Finished at 5 guys burgers (amazing), so got to cross that off my list. Definitely looking forward to getting a bit healthier when back in Sydney tho.

Caught a train to Suffolk after work with Tim.
Cycled on some lovely country lanes between pubs.
Great interesting roads up there, although visibility in the tight lanes mean some sketchy moments.
Defined bike routes seem quite pleasant up that way.

A really fun race. 4.5k, 30 controls in a very small park meant a lot of short sharp decisions, and a lot of looking ahead.
Made some hesitations, but apart from that only one big 30s error on 16, where I went around the wrong structure (and looking back my HR was at max) and a 45s error exiting 16. 16 was where the map turned over, but kinda pissed because I knew it was coming, planned ahead, and thought I had it covered. nevermind, happy enough to have not mispunched... I'm sure a lot of people did somewhere.
10th overall in a strong field 2 mins off the lead
Good crew at the pub afterwards
