Long Run to Greenwich.
Was supposed to be 27k, but felt good so did 20miles (vainly because strava has a september 20mile challenge:(
Could tell in the last 10 k that my outer glutes and hip flexors are the main muscle holding me back. note to self for conditioning.

Some nice hills out near greenwich, will try and explore a bit more

Rode to the start of the Tour of Britain Epsom stage.
Then rode down boxhill (fun) and up Ranmore and Nath remembered he had to be back by 3, so hotlegged it back up boxhil and home.
The route there was a bit busy and stressful, the route back was better, although still quite busy on the roads.

Med run.
Slept in an hour and changed my route to allow me to pull out at any distance... i had in my head i wouldn't make the full 18k. as it was i had to extend my route by doing little loops around every little park i came across and zigzagging up and down side streets in tower hamlets. haha
First 6k were very hard but pulled through, although i'm not sure it was the best idea for the legs.

Note

Woke up in the middle of the night with calf cramps and woke up with real sluggish legs... haven't ever really had major cramp issues except for mid-foot back in vball days. sipping on electrolytes today to hopefully sort it out. might have just been lying funny.

Running tempo 1:15:12 intensity: (1:03 @0) + (46 @1) + (2:37 @2) + (35:12 @3) + (23:28 @4) + (12:06 @5) 17.07 km (4:24 / km) +67m 4:19 / km

9km@tempo.
Decided to run to a heartrate today so aimed for 168bpm. Managed it and very happy with the splits (3:55-4:10), but the calves were feeling real tight after last night's crampoff.
Have a med run tomorrow... will have to play it by ear whether to go ahead or move it to another day.
