Drills. Unbelievably painful DOMS from the badminton. Glutes were barely functional... Doubting the session

running 8:40 [4] 2.62 km (3:18 / km) +20m 3:11 / km

Only two reps with around 5 minutes of jogging and a little rest between. Took the first one slowly but really tired and glutes dead. Then missed the second and did the third slightly harder. Still couldn't push especially well.

4:25 and then 4:13


Ran this session a year ago and pushed hard for 4:30s. Could have run those pretty easily tonight

Really easy loop around the loch to finish. Struggling to run with any form. Getting laughed at by my company:L tomorrow is going to have to be veeery easy

badminton 30:00 [3]

All day stirling badminton competition. Hard work. Won the doubles but knocked out in the quarters of the singles. Rubbiiiishhh. Went 9-0 down then could only bring it back to 21-18. If i had concentrated at the start could have got it:L

Really tough area. Got a nice tow for the first five then on my own for 6-7 but messed up 8+9 by around four minutes. Somehow managed to lose will from here (as in he got ahead) by a pretty stupid route. Then just got round... Great fun though.

About a mile with them and then a little loop alone in the field. Miserable weather

Ran into dunblane and met up with two mates. Up to the sheriffmuir inn and down then home. Great run, really enjoyed it and good banter all the way. A bit longer than i wanted but it'll do:L incredibly muddy aswell. Managed seven and a half minute ks on the climb. Forgot to mention ran into Martin on the route out of ashfield. A quick greeting and we were off!

Blue 5.9km. Really physical sosol in pentlands. Ran the blue because of recent illness. Felt alright just a bit flat on the hills. Loved it! Not quite racing but really not far off

Scottish schools road relays. Team second!
Surprised i managed to shift at all after feeling so heavy in the warm up! Set off into third leg in around tenth and taking people the whole way around. One person flew past me though. So lost one and gained 7 coming in fourth. Last leg iain took us to second. Really pleased to be back running. Would have liked to be slightly faster...
