Orienteering 1:15:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: VJ Falcons 08

Placing controls for BFLO meet tomorrow. No tape on heels and no blisters. Lots of start and stop for hanging controls. Knee still not 100% - maybe 75%?

Orienteering (course setting) 1:58:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: VJ Falcons 08

Checking points for BFLO meet this Saturday at Sprague Brook. Lots of start and stop. Knee troublesome but getting better. Ibuprophen is helping.

Orienteering race (Long distance) 1:44:12 [4] **** 5.79 km (18:00 / km) +225m 15:04 / km
spiked:9/11c (injured) shoes: VJ Falcons 08

Managed to drag my left leg around the course. Still had bad fogging problems. Navigation was much better though. Maybe I finally got in sync with the map. Knee not worse at the end. Awful hard to lift it over logs. Strength and jogging were OK though.

Orienteering race (Middle distance) 1:30:59 [4] **** 3.8 km (23:57 / km) +160m 19:47 / km
spiked:6/12c shoes: VJ Falcons 08

A very bad day of orienteering at West Point on the Middle Distance. Glasses were fogged up continuously resulting in blindness. Fell and whacked left knee at control 7 and limped the rest of the way.

Orienteering race (sprint distance) 21:32 [4] **** 2.5 km (8:37 / km) +60m 7:41 / km
spiked:13/16c (injured) shoes: VJ Falcons 08

Knee was functioning well enough by the afternoon to have a go at the sprint. Plus humidity had dropped so fogging wasn't a problem. Felt pretty good about it under the circumstances.
