Chilly. Long pants and sleeves for the first time since Spring. Nice lap of the park followed by a nice lap of the neighborhood. A little bit of right knee soreness. Hopefully nothing serious.

More stretching than normal after the races over the weekend. Left calf still a little tight. Right knee much better than yesterday.

The long distance at the Canadian Champs. Only an hour late getting started. The software worked but my brain didn't. Lots of little errors but fortunately no big ones. Ended up in the middle of the pack. Still had trouble reading contours. Great venue with hot showers. On way to first control tripped over a fence onto some rocks. Should have stayed on the trail. Cool waterproof paper for the map. No map case!

The medium distance race at the Canadian Champs. Started 2 hours late. Very complex terrain for me. Totally blew #7 as a few others did. Figured after that I'd just keep going for the training. Ended up 3rd and couldn't believe it.

Not sure of time or finishing position as this is being written because of problems with the software. A nice fast race. Thought the color copies of the map left a little to be desired. Had to manually punch 4 controls.

Short run just to see if anything hurt. Everything seemed OK. Maybe a little soreness in knee afterwards but it disappeared quickly.
