Used my o-shoes in a cross country race today at Akron Falls Park. About 6k in length. A nice course, somewhat hilly, very windy, temp not bad. I was on a Checkers AC super vets team (60-69) even though I'm 70. (5 runners, 3 to count) The team finished 2nd of 7. My poor performance ;-) didn't hurt the team. I should have taken up this sport about 10 years ago. In the age groups I was first of 3 in the 70-99 group and won a tub of Trader Joe's biscotti. Both the Checkers Open Men and Open Women took first place.
