Orienteering 13:25 [1] 1.45 km (9:15 / km)

Very brief control site checking session. Woods swarming with red squirrels enjoying the early evening sunshine :-)
6 PM

Running warm up/down 16:53 [2] 2.34 km (7:13 / km)

R5k area with TP.

Running intervals 7:19 [4] 1.2 km (6:06 / km)

6 x 200m intervals with 30 secs recovery. Ran 4.5 running dp's from path back to 3.2km post.

Target was motivational session at TP's 1500m pace but it ended up quicker.

Included untimed session on outdoor gym equipment at adjacent playing field. Bonus was finding missing 2km post in brook, now retrieved and stashed safely (hopefully) ready for re-installation.

Control site checking with JP. Great terrain running and technical training under a watchful eye.

Running warm up/down 5:04 [2] 0.94 km (5:25 / km)

Jog to HH start with JP. Heavy rain!!

Running 1:04:20 [2] 5.32 km (12:06 / km)

Part HH route with JP. Up first hill in 7:22 then from restaurant to finish. Stopped for 30 mins cattle grid training!!

Running warm up/down 4:36 [2] 0.65 km (7:03 / km)

Finish to pub. No food as they stopped serving at 8 and by now it was just turned 8.30. At least we dried out though!!

Control site checking. Gets dark early now though, last section total darkness!!
