Looking at what's loosely called orienteering at Pennington Flash.

Route of Parkrun. Path mainly rough gravel, some grass, hilly.

Orienteering 25:30 [1] 2.13 km (11:58 / km)

Continuing look at the o-course. Also peeped into couple of the bird hides. One had various feeders for garden/woodland birds. Nuthatches, willow, great and blue tits, bullfinches, greenfinches plus others seen within few mins. Next hide just looked like water with couple of distant ducks but suddenly a kingfisher flew close by, hovered for a moment then dived and caught its lunch. Great to see.

8x200m with TP. 30s recovery. Followed by 800m recovery in 7:12 then 800m at TP's 10km pace (took 3:08 - opening 200m was 44s so told her to slow down. 92 at 400m)
