It was hot and my heart rate was very high almost the entire race. Mental error out of #1. I went to #3, then had to go down to #2, then retrace my path back up. Otherwise good navigation. Was a little high on #5. Was stopped by an Orange runner while heading to #8 asking for location help.

Loops B and C. Didn't realize the scale right away. Overshot #2. Turned onto wrong trail going to 14. Lost 5 minutes.

Injured my left instep enroute to 14 also.

Not the best choice to #1. I took the river path then cut up to the road. Going to #6 I hit the paved road, a 35 degree mistake. I talked to two other people who ended up over that way too.
