Long M21+ 45th

only messed up that I didn't follow my plan which was to run slow and stay In contact with the map. To control 9 I lost some time at the end because I took a risk and then I tried to made up for the lost time by speeding up resulting in only more mistakes. The beginning I did well though as I did it slower and made sure I stayed in contact more often.




The long race began as a surprise in relation to everyone's expectations to the technical intensity of it. Instead of bland long hills with charcoal pit a relatively detailed system of hills spurs, and rentrants that covered the entire map. I will post a picure of all the maps i have run on since I came to Europe today on my blog. I ran relatively well in the long but the biggest mistake that I made was not following my plan. Through the beginning everything was all right as the terrain was extremely technical as the course went through an area of green with subtle features. The next part became more runnable yet technical with respect to the contours. My plan had been to run easy and stay in contact with the map the whole time. As I
