Orienteering race (Forest Relay) 29:33 [4]

Had a pretty good run apart from the shortest leg where I just panicked and ended up in the wrong depression. I was trying to be really careful and not mess up and waste katie's effort, I wasn't the fastest but it turned out fine so never mind :)

Went pretty well, I had some hesitations close to some controls and a silly route choice but other than that I'm happy with it. Felt really sluggish at the start and got better later on so I probably didn't warm up properly

Up over the camel hill, down nearly to the field above newby bridge, over and back past the old sledging field and whitewater. Should have gone out earlier but I still managed to run most of it without going into shade :D

Orienteering race (Forest Score) 43:00 [4]

Really nice area and generally an enjoyable run. I missed a control that was on the fold of my map so I didn't get them all which was annoying but I was back nearly 17 minutes early - not sure if that makes it more or less annoying! Got most of them straight off apart from a little control circle faffing on maybe 3 or 4 of them.

Circuits (Playground Circuits!) 20:00 [5]

Actually really hard! Not even kidding..
2 circuits (plus two repeated exercises):
1min pullups (or as close to as I could manage)
1min pressups suspended between balance beams
1min bunny hops or whatever you're meant to call them
1min squats on hanging tyres (adding the balance element of fun)
1min flying fish in the wooden triangles (having to lift up further)
1min one legged squats/heel raises balancing on stepping stones
1min slide hill reps
1min balancing along the chain bridge (basically a rest)
1min handstand against a wall

Running warm up/down (Jogging) 10:00 [3]

Bit of "control circle practise" on the way there, sprinting in and out of likely control sites
