First time I've been on my bike for a while so it was nice to give my ankles a break. But literally wearing 3 pairs or trousers it was so cold! I'm sure cycling is meant as a summer sport..

2x 4minute hills with recovery as jogging back down.
Plus an extra bit on one the first one to avoid a woman walking her dog. Wearing a prom-type dress. In some dark woods. Alone. :O

Over Haverthwaite Heights to Lane Ends, then down through Haverthwaite to the Estuary (via what felt like waist deep mud, water and cowpats) then back along Fish House Lane

Lovely and muddy and oh, nice timing! Just managed to catch the entire rain storm :D

3x 2 minute intervals with 3 minute recovery.
I would have done maybe 2 more but we'd forgotten head torches

On flat road, and faster than usual due to Dad's "go on let's see how fast you can run then" turning into a bit of a race..

Still a bit coughy, but I thought I might as well run properly seeing as this was meant to be a hard week.
Down fishouse lane in the dark = not where I like to be, but the running felt better than yesterday so tthat kind of made up for it.

A rather chatty jog around backlane with father as both of us are a bit ill, got terrified of the screaming pigs and had to sprint, but other than that it was a nice steady trot all the way round

Running warm up/down (Jog to/from) 20:00 [2]

Running (Short Hills) 30:00 [5]

3 sets of 10, 20seconds each with recovery as the jog back down and a longer recovery between sets. On terrain so it was really slippy/muddy/heathery - but a good session, with a sprinkling of gossip on the way home :)
