Over Gummer's Howe, down the Lythe Valley (sehr schon bluebells), under the A590 and accross that flat bit, Grange, Cartmel, teashop break, home.
My knees were absolutely fine, but still hurt a little this evening

Parkrun
Not my best but I'm pretty happy considering I wasn't sure I could even run at all. My knees didn't hurt much after the first km (killed on the warm down "jog") but I was being careful to stick to the verges so I couldn't really sprint the downhills and whatnot.

I felt like I was running well but kept making idiotic mistakes while trying to run away from trina (should have learnt from Saturday). Messed up spectator because I assumed it would be easy/only one spectator and didn't bother to pace.

Orienteering race (Open Fell ) 1:04:27 [4] 7.7 km (8:22 / km)

JK Long 1st W18E (5th including 21Es) ->3rd over the two days
Not a perfect run but I was in control all the way round.
Planning ahead - good until it came to the short legs when I couldn't navigate fast enough. Tending towards cmpass and pacing for almost all of them however this didn't work in the short legged quarry section due to crags and hills; back to my favey kind on contour based navigation.
Compass - Fairly accurate, the practice has been worth it. I'm still leaning right but aware of it so it's easier to figure out where I am if it goes wrong: no. 7 for example.
Concentration - Kept it up most of the way round but lost count of paces on number 4, probs lost just over a minute due to that .
Dealing with problems - Leant right on the long leg (7) but I stayed calmer than usual and found where I was (maybe 75m off route)
Satisfaction 7-8/10
