Rogue Runs Sheppardine Half Marathon- good run. time trial so we set off whenever, really, between 9 & 10am. Sunny, but cool.
Wind "behind" in first 10k , & my splits seemed effortless & super fast, felt awesome. Passing people all the time, great for confidence. Many runners in new carbon plate cheat shoes. I need a pair.
Things got tricky from 8 miles (wind/slight uphill/legs started feeling it), and the final 2 miles were hell. Mainly calf cramps. Blisters threatened at 10km but that pain went when the legs started folding.
there's more in the tank. definitely. Really enjoyed today. Kudos to Andy Creber & Rogue Runs - amazing organisation!
