Orienteering (SW Compass Sport Cup) 1:05:40 [3] 11.0 km (5:58 / km)
shoes: more miles cheviot

I was 4th, behind Ben, Duncan Birtwistle and Mark Brown (all really good M21's).
One really big mistake and a couple small ones but on the whole really good course and its looking really promising as I am starting to get really consistent with my results and this was a really good result!
Actual distance: 9.1km 205m
-hesitant on 1 because I didn't want to mess up but wasn't too far off the pace
-3 drifted on to the path but that actually helped as I could be confident as to where I was running
-4 was awful, came to a hill but nothing on the map and so I doubted myself, lost 4 minutes. I was in exactly the right place just an awful map, so many other people agreed with me on this! (without this mistake I would have been far closer to the top 3)
-lost about 40 second on 6 as I wasn't paying enough attention
-9 didn't lose too much time but could have been a lot better as I should ahve carried long the path long, but came off too soon, also should have pushed hard as I could have definately gained time here
-hesitant on 13 but hit it well, probably about 10 seconds lost here so really good because this had potential to be messed up
-14 probably the best leg I did as I beat second place by 30 secs, just ran ona bearing and made sense of the contours really well
-18 took the lower path which was ok even if it was a bit f height loss, hesitated a little because I didn't trust the map after 4
-20 stopped to check I was right
-22 drifted passed it but realised what i had done

Warm Up/Down 20:00 [3] 1.5 km (13:20 / km)

Note
(rest day)

Went for a family walk, pretty good, still worried about my knee, shouldn't be too much of a burden tomorrow though.
-Three aims run under 70 minutes depending on the times of the day
-Within 25% of winner
-top 6 position would be good

Orienteering (Core Copse Tess Session) 45:00 [3] 6.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: New Balance 110

Good training:
-my knee was still really hurting but when I got going it was Ok, should be fine for running on Sunday
-Tess planned a fine orienteering course where you hadto look at the control description as there were tow controls so within 10m of each other.
-I only found about 4/7 and the 3 I missed I was in the right area but just couldn't find them,I think it was a combination of it being dark/the controls being tiny/poorly laid by Tess.

Warm Up/Down 10:00 [3]

Running (Hashing East Budleigh) 1:00:00 [3] 9.0 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: more miles cheviot

Fun hash,IF I HAVEN'T ORDERED A HEADLIGHT BY NEXT HASH I WILL BE SO ANNOYED.
Also my left leg still feels really weak and the knee and ankle are pretty sore, getting really fustrated now!

Note

Have trained for the last three days and today because of weather and my left leg feels really weak. Not sure what it is because when I start running it is OK but when I walk around I am practically limping really weird!

Running (Rainy Scott Run) 47:00 [3] 9.5 km (4:57 / km)
shoes: New Balance 110

Didn't want to go for a run because of weather and leg but went because I felt sorry for Scott because he was running home and I had already told him I would go for a run with him.
I have a really weird injury my leg just feels really weak, no obvious injury just a sought of mild pain so its hard to put pressure on (confusing)
Weather was atrocious and just went to the tope of East hilla nd back down because there was no way I could go any further mainly because of my leg. Was strong on the hard part of the hill though
