Warm Up/Down (Quantock Wind Down) 20:00 [3] 1.5 km (13:20 / km)
shoes: more miles cheviot

Orienteering (Quantock Wind Down) 44:17 [3] 6.5 km (6:49 / km) +285m 5:35 / km
shoes: more miles cheviot

Ran a good race, still could feel yesterdays race in my legs but on the whole I ran a strong course with few mistakes and a fast but controlled pace.
No huge mistakes and I beat Joss and Grey on every control except one.
Insane amount of height gain so couldn't drive the pace too much. I was thinking ahead well and because it was a stright forward area the main mistake you could make was on route choice and I think I did well.
My confidence is definately rising because I have won the last two events and beaten Grey and Joss by 10 and 15 minutes respectively which even if it was to do with pace is still impressive.
Actual Distance=5km

Warm Up/Down (SWXC) 20:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Japan Thunder Spikes

Running (SWXC) 27:44 [3] 6.9 km (4:01 / km)
shoes: Asics Japan Thunder Spikes

Ran well and came 37th which sounds awful but considering the people here was good.
Made a cool area with forest and steep climbs boring as thy just used a field.

Orienteering (Blaise Castle) 45:00 [3] 6.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: New Balance 110

Went and jogged the blue course really slowly. Had a good time but had to choose sub-optimal route choice because I had no energy left after the race.
I think I got to most the areas well, but the fine orienteering I didn't really bother with because A/ I couldn't be bothered and B/the map was slightly smaller and distorted because I had made made it by print screening route gadget.

Running (Scott and Joss) 1:10:00 [3] 13.0 km (5:23 / km)
shoes: New Balance 110

Still really tired from hockey but wanted to go for a run,so set off down the river to see how I would feel. got to the bridge and felt good and so crossed over, however went the wrong way and so added 1.5 km onto the route and Scott was struggling so we were going at a bi of a slow pace.
Good fun though, and good to get the legs going.
