Warm Up/Down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering race (Cleve Hill) 32:00 [3] 4.2 mi (7:37 / mi)

Amazing area, just so much fun to run on but my knee turned me into an old man for the whole course literally. I was then reduced to limping back. Probs won't be able to run until JK :( (Classic brokenanklekit)
Surprised I won the course as I still managed to make mistakes haha

Warm Up/Down 20:00 [3]

Intervals (UBCCC ) 20:00 [3]

Not too sure of time as it was until the fastest runner got round the corner we had to turn back (me every time). I ran Chris's session as it was my first run coming back to training.
mixed really as I am definitely not over my injury, my knee just felt so weak afterwards but at the same time running no huge issues or anything. I think its annoying but I am just going to have to stick to steady off road runs. Glad race season is over in terms of pure running.

Running (Teddy Hall Relays ) 20:02 [3] 5.8 km (3:27 / km)

**Note will put time on when it is online**
Went to Oxford for this relays race with UBCCC. Really great weather and a nice course with a friendly atmosphere.
Because of commitments and being too much of a fresher my fitness has dropped quite a bit also I could really feel my knee before I started.
I went out on the 3rd leg and had a pretty solid run good pace especially along the river as I tried to keep with this guy, however, in the last 2k just sought of gave up racing and just tried to get back without losing too much time for James. I think we were 5th which is respectable! (hope I wasn't weakest guy on the team but I probably was)

I have decide to take until at least next Monday maybe longer off running because my knee is definitely not right and I really can't be bothered to be injured.

Running (Ignit10n) 45:00 [3] 6.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

Horrible, my friends call woke me up and I had committed and so pretty much had to go, despite going out last night.
Ellen then decided push the pace for the whole run and I could barely keep up.
Time for the run was faster but this includes getting there and back

Note

Stepped out the door dressed and ready for intervals saw the rain and immediately turned round haha (didn't really want to go any way)

Running (Long Run) 1:12:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:48 / km)

Good run with a friend from x country, it was meant to be longer but we didn't add a big enough loop in Ashton court but still so much fun, after intervals yesterday probably very good that I didn't do the proposed 15 miles.Pretty decent pace as the guy is training for 3 marathons in three days! Right knee still a bit funny, may give the tempo tomorrow a miss.

Warm Up/Down 25:00 [3]

Intervals (UBCCC Intervals) 20:00 [3]

4 2 2 4 2 2 4(only did 2)
4x20 secs
Good session glad I motivated myself to go, basically pacing myself as faster than the others but couldn't hold Owain and Liam except for one lap I beasted. Only ting is I could definitely feel my right knee so will proceed with caution.

Warm Up/Down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering race (Welsh Champs Methyr Mawr) 40:00 [3]

Yeah it was a shocker!
1/ good
2/ slight hesitation but good
3/slight miss but good
4/good and caught my 2 min man ifor and 1min man
5/ lost contact and couldn't work out the veg so they got away
7/missed but saw it poor compass work
7/took the lead good
8/ really nice got a distance now and nailed it
9/miles the wrong way as veg just couldn't make sense of and went too far south
10/ hit 10 before 9 so easy
11-13/Ifor had got away again and so legged it to catch him up and nailed them all in some hard legs

14/ Basically I got ahead of Ifor again but couldn't work out what to do as I couldn't see if there was some good route choice, looking at it now I should have followed the fence and come across.
What I actually did was run probably about 1.5km the wrong way just trying to hit the river, I hit the estuary and then found control 19 before anything made sense!!!

15-28/ Gave up as had so little motivation that I probably would ahve messed the others up so just ran the last couple of controls, still messed them up lol

Overall great training and glad I went, I am not even that annoyed by how I did as I don't think competition was really on my mind today :)

Warm Up/Down 30:00 [3]

Really good workout so great prep! In a really good mood, love how my race mentality has switched from nerves to interested to see how I get on.

Running race (Blaise Castle Gwent Leagu) 35:43 [3] 9.6 km (3:43 / km)

NOTE: TIME NEEDS CHANGING BUT WILL DO WHEN RESULTS ARE UP!

I have had a really bad cold all week and training had been varied and so my main purpose of running today was to keep my fitness level high, aim was to beat Jarlath and Duncan.

Started really well not too fast and found a group with Jarlath that was just out of my comfort zone, Duncan was one group ahead but I wasn't really that worried about him.
Then second lap we passed Duncan and he couldn't hold on but then half way through neither could I and found myself in no mans land.
Tried to keep the pace high but it was sometimes really hard and I really lacked some fight.
Then third lap pretty much held on got passed y a couple who I just couldn't hold onto. Then bridge back up to a Bristol and West guy but he paced it too hard at the finish and I couldn't hold on.
Really pleased with 24th as I am pretty sure is was out of 300+ guys and a good quality field and definitely was a good performance.

Note

So psyched for Welsh Champs tomorrow the area is legit!
