A fun small course to work on pacing to start which was surprisingly hard considering the controls were a couple of metres of paths. Also the main event of a night course with glowing pumpkins for controls, embarrassingly awful and then at control 5 followed someone out and wasn't sure so followed them a bit further and got totally lost and spent ages relocating and then jogged the rest, still getting lost. (yellow standard course...awkward!)
Not looking great for this weekend.

Absolutely horrific:
3 by 2km round roads.... horrible!
Took the first one too fast so ended up running in the A group and struggled to hang on. Then on the third I went down to the B and forced my way around.
Then instead of easing down we headed to a field and did 'strides' which were full out sprints, I did 3 but I was supposed to do 6.
