Note

8 sprints in 8 days (whereof one I organized), quite good program and quite low risk for my arm. (Even tough the tourists in Paris can be dangerous if you don't keep an eye on them)

Night-Sprint mass start.

Quite tricky with the underground levels, some problems to spot those to the first control there, but then a good race (apart from all the fences on the east part I ran around...but those were quite hard to spot.)

Cool sprint, messed it up on the long route choice. Didn't saw the entrance at first and wanted to take an entry on the right (which apparently doesn't exist....)

Miserable GPS, it is bad in such areas, but this was really bad....had to put more adjusting points in Quickroute than the course had controls.

It was quite tough to read the map often enough while looking to the ground 99% of the time to not fall, still there were some really bad controls and the insight that my reserve compass (which replaced the one I destroyed at SOW - along with other things...) isn't really fast in "northing itself". Sometimes I glanced to short and just ran, but it should not be any excuse.

The main thing is that my arm is still fine and those were nice days in Finland anyway.

And, last and probably least: Last out of the forest: CHECK!

The week in Slovenia is almost over and it felt great to deal with some maps again. The speed is good in urban and good visible areas, but there's still some "mental break" in stony or dense terrain. (Which is good, as the arm is still not totally recovered and 100% robust)
