Ran to Mass Street to see it closed off again for the crowds this evening after the NCAA Championship game. Hoping for the best.
Then up to campus, stopped in the Union Bookstore to see if they sold any kind of Jayhawk buffs (they don't, yet). Then across campus and stopped at the Ryan Gray Playground (Hillcrest Elementary). Ryan Gray was the special Lawrence boy adopted by Danny Manning's basketball team that won the 1988 NCAA Championships. Local fans look for superstitious things to do like visit the James Naismith statue by Allen Fieldhouse, or Naismith's grave at the eastside cemetery; or visit Ryan Gray's playground.
Tried Galloway 90/30 intervals, but lose track all the time. Windy (north wind), sunny. Temp: 45.
Tried the Cascadia trail shoes to run in town - a change from my Hokas. They worked fine.
