running/walking 1:59:50 [2] 12.68 mi (9:27 / mi)
slept:7.25 shoes: Asics Cumulus II

7 AM - to Dunn Bros (but didn't see the 7 at 7 group), so headed to 27th, Haskell campus, back via James Naismith's grave. Saw Karen Hyde on her run at Haskell. Sunny, no wind, 26F. 3 Clif Blks, Gatorade. Even though I raced yesterday, it was short, need to to get thsoe long runs in consistently now. Biofreeze on left back side overnight - couldn't sleep on that side.

slept:8.0 shoes: Integrator

5 min dynamic stretching, then warmup jog about 3x around parking area.
Sunny, 35F, decided to not wear a hat, eventually took off thin black gloves.

PTOC Meet at Blue & Gray Park: Green Course. Decided not to take the road to #1 to work on map reading. Lucky to check my compass before going up the wrong reentrant to #1. Horse trails were hard to run on, so did a lot of direct routes not bothering with trails. Very thorny compared to what we will see at Hawn SP next week. Punch card came loose again from my elastic string holder, so stuffed it in the map case again. Not very sharp, but no big mistakes.

Wednesday Feb 24, 2010 #

running/walking 49:55 [2] 5.14 mi (9:43 / mi)
slept:8.0 shoes: Vasque Blur

PM - didn't have energy to run in the morning. Drove Dee to the airport then feeling sluggish ate a Clif Blok and drank a half cup of coffee, then ran to Grand Vista taking in a few side streets (GPEC parking lot, Mourning Dove, etc.) up to Monterey Way, back thru Fall Creek and Ranger. 26F, mostly clean pavement, but also packed snow or thin crunchy ice, no slick spots. Felt better after the run, but afternoon runs are tough.

full Rob Jones dynamic stretching routine before run.

running/walking 45:00 [2] 3.8 mi (11:50 / mi)
slept:6.5 shoes: Vasque Blur

AM - from Allen FH parking lot, ran top Oread Inn (up Naismith, down on Sunnyside). Huge crowd of students (2000-3000?) showed up for the lottery to get tickets for the last home basketball game. They were in the arena, we stayed out on the level 2 concourse.
2 laps at AFH.
After calisthenics led by Kenny B, 8 more laps on level 3.

Evening before, stayed up late watching the Olympics and the basketball game. Thought about getting to bed at 9 pm, but it was 10:30.
