control watching for the race. absolutely CHUCKING it down. went into a shop and asked for their biggest umbrella... it was tartan.. I had no choice

w/u then 6x3mins hard (1min rest). quads were particularly painful! but gd to know they're being worked!

had a wee jog on the treadmill, knee was okay but stopped pretty early as I realised I was wearing the wrong shoes and so my calves were tightening up

used a 20kg bar for front squat.. 20kg OH press
& max 14kg db row

2x 5mins (2mins)
2x 4mins (1.30)
2x 3mins (1min) . out of the saddle for the first 3 reps, but then my knee started to ache so did the last 3 sitting down.
went in the evening after most people had gone home... so much quieter thank GOD. also saw an alex pettyfer lookalike. who said tuesdays were all bad..??!
