Cycling warm up/down (To/frpm Event) 1:43:00 [3] 35.6 km (2:54 / km)

Work to Horsdenden Hill - and later back to work to store bike.

Orienteering race (Park Race) 29:27 [3] 6.3 km (4:40 / km)
shoes: Nike Lunar +2s

LOK Horsenden Hill. Shins felt slightly stiff on starting, after my Tuesday run, so eased back the pace and went "steady" all the way around. As often when this happens, I actually therefore did quite well - finishing 6th, my highest placing in the series so far. I overtook some guy at the first control, he then proceeded to follow me around for the next 19 controls!

Terrain was almost entirely open grass, apart from a paved section near the beginning and end. Green was genuinely impenetrable. My Lunar +2s were definitely too soft for this sort of terrain.

Road Running (City Runners) 27:10 [4] 6.52 km (4:10 / km)
shoes: Nike Lunar +2s

In the intermediate group - which was in fact just as fast as the fast group north of the river, although slowed for the return leg. Raining quite hard during the run, which made the Millennium Bridge quite slippy, but kept the heat off.
