Cycle Commuting (In to Work) 23:38 [3] 8.19 km (2:53 / km)

Cycle Commuting (Back Home) 28:59 [3] 8.73 km (3:19 / km)

Hot and humid, and very busy on the canal indeed (I was going home an hour earlier than normal, but still...)

Note

Bike going in for its service after its first six weeks tomorrow, having done 1130km on the clock (+ a bit.) Averaging ~200km a week at the moment, nice!

Cycling (To/from Event) 1:13:36 [3] 26.71 km (2:45 / km)

UCL to the Hawker Centre at Kingston, after work, for the SLOW Trail Challenge. Then back to Richmond, and then home from Homerton.

SLOW Trail Challenge at Ham, running the 10K course. Had a great run - after a slightly stiff start, I took good routes, kept the pace up and - crucially, was smooth to the difficult control at 7, overtaking quite a few people here. Also was smooth through the tricky urban leg from 8-9, spotting a blocked close when I saw people ahead of me coming back out. I did however find the hlll to No. 5 quite tough and walked up part of it, losing around 45 seconds. Finished fourth - or third if not counting Ed's run (he started late) out of a field of around 80. Ed was five minutes up on me. It was very warm and dry, but with a slight breeze.

Jogging warm up/down (Warm Down) 11:56 [2] 2.15 km (5:33 / km)

From the Hawker Centre to/from and across the footbridges at Teddington Lock. Warming down with Ed - quite a fast warm-down pace (for me).
