LOC Turkey race at Haverthwaite Heights - Long 3.5km

Did the training here a month ago so I was very prepared. Took a few controls to get used to the scale though that was 1:5000. Happy to see I was gaining on Mark who started around 3 mins before. Caught him at 7 but then we both made a miss on 9. I was first to relocate so never saw Mark again. Good fun.

Bashed knee so wont go for another run today and let it calm down its at the moment it is quite sore.

Back in the Lakes. 90 mins easy via Cunswick Scar and Scout Scar

Should have checked the weather before I went out. I was out during the only part of the day it was raining which made it very miserable. I couldn't even stop to find geocaches as I didn't want to get cold.

Glad I chose to do this rather than Parkrun as turns out that was cancelled due to ice.

Skyline route from Hillend until Turnhouse then dropped down to the reservoir then carried on Skyline route back once up onto Harbour. Lovely morning
